What is jazz in gtown

Jazz in GTown is a fledgling group of jazz fans who are working as a creative team to contribute to the vibrancy of Germantown and Columbia County by expanding activities related to the arts. We are actively achieving this by bringing accomplished musicians to town and presenting a series of jazz concerts that educate and entertain the extended community and serve as a cultural focal point. Collaborators for this project are The G’Town Jazz Committee and The Germantown Public Library.

All money from ticket sales for Jazz in GTown concerts is used to pay the talented musicians who take the stage to entertain our community.  Members of the JIGT committee donate all of their time to locate the very best musicians, feed them, house them, and make sure jazz fans like you, who appreciate and respect what these artists have to offer, are kept abreast of the latest events.  Without you, we cannot continue to offer these concerts, so, please buy a ticket, make a donation, come and support our efforts.  Thank you for keeping Jazz alive in the Hudson Valley!

Jazz in GTown is NOT yet a 501(c)3 organization and donations are NOT tax deductible.
